I can before I cannot

You will get to I can before I cannot

The older you get the more your brain can unknowingly use past experience to stop you from achieving something.

What do I mean by this?

It is called being indecisive, tentative or hesitant. Brought on by worries that surface.

Those thinking of travelling can often stop themselves because of the ‘What if that happens’ worries:

  • What if someone in my family falls ill whilst I am away…
  • What if I run out of money…
  • What if my friends aren’t there when I get back…
  • What if I get sick…

Life was meant for living. Ageing is a super power if you learn the right lessons; it can make you very wise. But ageing and not learning can also teach you the wrong way to think. To turn worry into a brick wall stopping you from doing anything joyous and rewarding.

So the next time you are thinking of undertaking a new vocation, deciding to ask someone out on a date – or whatever – next time, remember actively pursuing a dream and taking that instant leap into the unknown will always bring you something positive and exciting before it doesn’t.

Grow this ....
